White Horses, The 1 9 6 5 (Yugoslavia/Germany) 12 x 60 minute episodes The White Horses, a Yugoslav-German co-production (originally titled Ferien in Lipizza)… Another popular series, although it is really more of a general animal series rather than pony one, it does include a strong pony element, as the main character is horse-mad! If you like Follyfoot I would recommend these books. The stories in this compilation are all available individually: Follyfoot, Dora at Follyfoot, The Horses of Follyfoot and Stranger at Follyfoot. There is another book in the series not included in this volume: Cobbler's Dream. All of the titles pop up fairly regularly in my experience in second hand book shops and, depending on the edition, they're also available very cheaply online. Anne of Avonlea 1 9 7 5 (UK) 6 x 60 minute episodes A sequel to the 1972 BBC series Anne of Green Gables,… The series' theme song, "The Lightning Tree", written by Francis Essex, the brother of Tony Essex and sung by The Settlers, is well-remembered, sometimes more so than the series itself. The song reached No. 36 in the UK charts in 1971. [2] An album featuring music from the series was also released.

Hello Yellow - 80 Books to Help Children Nurture Good Mental Health and Support With Anxiety and Wellbeing - Soon after this, she moved from her home in Hinxworth in Hertfordshire to the United States after marrying a United States Navy officer, Roy O. Stratton, who died in 1985. They adopted two daughters, Pamela and Prudence. The family lived in Washington, D.C., and Falmouth, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod, producing the 1972 book of the same name. She continued to write, most of her books being set in Britain. She was also a regular columnist for the British women's magazine Woman's Own for twenty years (without admitting to being an expatriate). Thames Tug 1 9 5 3 (UK) 6 x 30 minute episodes Jimmy Spurgeon (Sean Barrett) is a schoolboy who finds himself in…Dora and Steve are invited to the Colonel's house for lunch to meet a young friend of his. But Dora takes an instant disliking to him due to his boasting. She challenges him to a show-jumping race, which he confirms he will win. While it's going on, the Colonel is taken ill and Dora abandons the race. She later realises that his ill health could mean the end of Follyfoot. One Pair of Hands (Michael Joseph, 1939; re-published by Penguin Books Ltd, Harmondsworth, and Penguin Books Pty Ltd, Mitcham, 1961, book number 1535) A co-author (even someone who wasn’t a series insider) who could have offered insight into the characters – and perhaps into the social history that time has turned the series into – would have made this book very special. Cast: Gillian Bailey (Callie Holmes), Paul Guess (Lewis Hammond), Greg Powell (3rd Man), David Richardson (Groom), Edward Underdown (Matthew) Cast: Margaret Boyd (Steve's Grandmother), Ted Carroll (Horse Owner), Rosamund Greenwood (Aunt Millie), Arthur Hewlett (Old Man), Colin Rix (Vet)

She went on to perform additional roles on television. In 1971 she landed the lead role in a Yorkshire Television Production Follyfoot, which ran for three series until 1973. Initially, she worked in domestic service and then became a nurse. Later, she worked in an aircraft factory.
