Despite my sadness in officially finding out the hard to swallow truth about the cheese sauce, Ottogi Real Cheese Ramen tastes artificial, albeit in a pleasant way. The good news is… I wasn’t really expecting to have cheese made from the teat of a mammal anyways. It’s instant ramen noodles! Ten percent real, REAL cheese might have been stretching it a bit, but I’ll forgive Ottogi, just this once for their cheesy-transgressions. If you love cheese, you will probably like this Korean cheese ramen, though I don’t mind it even cheesier. The texture of the noodles are great as well. Every portion contains only 129 calories - perfect if you're looking to finish the day without busting your diet. And the best part? All it takes is 3 minutes to whip up your own masterpiece with healthy ingredients right in the comfort of your own home. Ready at little time with zero hassles? Yes please! My personal preference for ramen requires flavors that are based on authentic cuisine and utilizes flavor profiles that work well together. Without going into depth, these are my basic needs. I just don’t think Ottogi’s Real Cheese Ramen met those standards. However, I think there is an audience out there for this cup of noodles. I closely inspected the label of this mysteriously named cup of noodles and found out that only ten percent of the actual cheese sauce is REAL! I guess we finally found our answer to yesterday’s burning question… This cheese is “real,” meaning almost entirely synthetic. What terrifies me most about this cup of noodles is the fact that Ottogi intentionally put “real” in the title of this product… What exactly is “real” cheese? And, how is it different from cheese (the stuff made from actual milk)?Kimchi Cheese Ramen Stir-Fry is a savory, tangy and cheesy noodle dish! Featuring chewy ramen noodles stir-fried with kimchi, garlic, sesame oil with melting cheese on top. It's absolutely divine as the flavors pair perfectly with each other. Add a soft boiled jammy egg on top and it's tasty meal. Ottogi Cheese Ramen has chewy & soft noodles and rich and tasty soup loaded with cheese, vegetables like green onions, mushrooms, carrots and etc for better taste.
