About this deal

So the next I decided to use the 4.53 pellet sizer and was pleasantly surprised. The 4.53 sized group was considerably better than the 4.54 unsized group There are also larger calibres available, such as .25 and .303, but in my opinion these are only really worth bothering with if you’re shooting an FAC rifle that is over 12ft/lbs, as the extra mass of the pellet requires more force to push it. These larger pellets are designed for hunting at long ranges and can provide devastating power at the 20-30ft/b range.

If you live in a state or city where air guns are treated as firearms you may be able to take advantage of our FFL special program.Because these pellets are some of the most popular designs available, there loads of different pellets to choose from by many different brands such as Air Arms, JSB and ProShot. Pointed The majority of my pellets were in the 4.54 head size with 4.53 and 4.55 being on the outer fringes for a .01 mm plus or minus for the 400 count tin which I thought was pretty tight tolerence. The late Don Nygord, world champion air pistol shooter in the 1980s, once wrote that he could not see any difference between sized and unsized pellets. Don sold target airguns and pellets to shooters for many years and perhaps had the opportunity to test this theory more than many people in his quest for perfection.

Airgun Nation is the epicenter for learning, sharing, and discussing everything related to airguns. Founded in 2015 and refreshed in 2022, we are the airgun metropolis for community and industry alike. The taper ensures that the front to rear ratio is always the same. This will keep the front smaller than the rear, for optimum power and accuracy. Do not push the pellet into the bore of the Sizer too hard as you may deform it, but with practice you will get to know how much pressure the pellets requireto get the maximum from them.New version: Similar for Steyr but longer, with three air stripper plates as well. ComBrella can’t be connected to this model.

I have one of these somewhere and I didn't see any difference in accuracy when I was doing alot of pellet testing TbT Pellet Sizers and Pellet Seating Tool[/QUOTE] http://www.airrifletuning.com/products/tbt-pellet-sizers/embed/ I've been sizing Crosman primer Hollow Points and testing them. My Gamo likes the loser 4.47-4.48 pellets best. It also loves the RWS Superdomes that just happen to be 4.47 and 4.48 head size. I don't think this is a coincidence. I would say this is definitive proof about different size and how finding that right size of a certain pellet for a single air rifle/pistol:Your experiences with the B-3 are interesting. Your pellet sizing has had a dramatic effect on velocity. How has the increase in velocity affected accuracy?
