Unfortunately, they’re not always easy to avoid, especially if you’re at work all day.Try a Dog Sling With Handles: If your dog likes to lie down on slippery floors and then has a hard time getting up, use a dog sling with handles to assist him. I never knew that there were so many options available to keep dogs from slipping on slippery surfaces. We have always had a lot of carpeted surfaces when we had our dogs so never had a problem. We also kept their nails trimmed. I did not know about toe grips, paw waxes, etc. Good veterinary care is obviously very important. Thank you for this informative post. I have personally used rubberized mats and booties for our senior dog in the past. I am sure that this post is helping so many people currently caring for senior dogs with slip issues.
