Loud - this product has been scientifically assessed and found to be louder than most in this category. If you just want a no-nonsense mountain bike at an attractive price point, the Canyon Neuron AL 6 is a very good answer. The negative points are very minimal. The main downfall is the noise - it does make quite a bit of noise when you have it set above the third power setting, but in comparison to the previous mixers I've owned, it makes about as much noise as any other. Since then, I have been drinking proper freshly brewed coffee. I can smell the lovely aroma from my kitchen to the living room. Very neat looking machine, simple to operate and affordable. The Andrew James Stand Mixer is one of their top-selling products with award-winning design features.I've replaced the bulb with the spare provided " never a good sign " and hopefully this will last longer !!!!!!!

Nov. Update to my posting above, It was confirmed to me by Trading Standards, that Andrew James has gone into Administration!! The Andrew James Food Mixer AJ000194 is a low priced stand mixer which on paper seems to do everything the pricier models do. It's available in four vibrant colours to match other appliances in the range and has a large 5.2 litre stainless steel bowl and standard range of attachments. Our tests found that this reasonably priced mixer delivered good results for many tasks, but isn't good at whisking. Overall, though, it's a good mixer at a great price. I do hope Andrew James are able to overcome their present difficulties and return to doing what they obviously work so hard for and do so well, providing us with useful and essential products for our house, home, garden and lifestyles.I think a lot of readers will appreciate this. Our food mixers have been voted amongst the Top Ten in the UK by the Independent and our products have appeared on several TV programmes including Masterchef, Come Dine With Me and The Gadget Show. It will sit on all standard counter tops but because of it's height it is better to place it were there are no wall mounted cupboards above so you can easily lift the whisk/beater blade when you have finished mixing. I've also found that the attachments don't quite touch the bottom of the bowl, so if you're planning on using the mixer on small ingredient quantities (such as to whip ½ cup of heavy cream or to beat 2 egg whites) the attachments will miss the ingredients and nothing will happen.
