About this deal

i was visiting states when my uncle called me from india and asked me to get this bottle for him as he use to wear the old version and someone recently wearing this reminded him of his good old days. a tart green lemony citrus fragrance for the most part, slight floral and spice coming in behind it. It opens strong but generic, citrus and cool spices, and it dries down to something I consider way too flowery, kind of like hair grease. |Experience the Irresistible Armani Sì Passione. More than just a fragrance; this is a powerful reinvention of the iconic Armani scent, embodying an irresistible combination of grace, strength, and independent spirit. Giorgio Armani himself describes it as a perfume that encapsulates the essence of a confident woman who dares to say yes to life's adventures.I do get a lot of compliments when I’m wearing this! Especially in summer, on hot days this one does a good job. Interestingly, I bought this instead of Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino after spraying a wrist with each and comparing. I was very surprised at how unexpectedly similar the two are at initial spray and during development, especially the aldehyde note...but I actually found the dry down of this fragrance to be more to my liking. If I had to compare it it would be more like Chanel pour Monsieur but the scent is much better. Addictive. I love this scent, this is the kind of fragrances I more enjoy. Is a clean, citrus, herbal and woody scent. It has a classic style, but is very nice and very male. Maybe the light in the store ruined the tester fragrance, as it did smell a little off. Considering the tester couldn't be older than a couple of months, I'd recommend you keep this in a cool dark place just to be sure.

It opens with a very natural smelling blend of citrus fruits, lavender, and cloves. Some sandalwood and oakmoss appear in the soapy dry-down. It's about 20 years ago since I last had a smell on the 1980s version. This one is not too dissimilar and might as well not be classified separately. From what I can tell from memory, this one is more citric and fresh than the 1980s version, but that's the way most classic fragrances have gone. If you're a fan of 4711 Eau de Cologne, Dior Eau Sauvage, Azzaro Pour Homme, or Aramis Tuscany Per Uomo, you might enjoy Armani Eau Pour Homme. Opening: sharp, citric, very much in the style of Dior Eau Sauvage. Floral notes join the choir in a couple of minutes, softening the scent and at the same time making it even more powerful. Opening notes perfectly impersonate fresh and serious atmosphere of an old Orthodox Christian church. The last time I tried this was in 2012 and it was the previous formulation and I was very disappointed as I love the original 1984 version. I got a blast of lemon that seemed to fade after 30 min and was gone on my skin within the hour. On me, the lily is WAY too strong. It's certainly not feminine, but it's not quite masculine, either. Very neutral. Sedate, as in sedated.

Inspired by the elements of nature, the Giorgio Armani fragrances are an example of invisible sophistication. A symbol of perfection and harmony. From a skilful blend of the most beautiful raw materials, Giorgio Armani creates perfume that’s timeless and vibrant, but fluid and simple. British violinist Charlie Siem and Italian photographer (son of Italian Vogue editor in chief Franca Sozzani) Francesco Carrozzini are chosen as the models for the new fragrances. The fragrances are available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. I recommend wearing this in the daytime, especially in summer or autumn. We could define the masculitnity as between Brut by Faberge and Davidoff Cool Water. Who do I imagine wearing this? Mid 20s+, position of trust, power, persuasion (doctors, bankers, white-collar jobs, entrepreneurs, teachers...). I can vision someone from the generation x, in wish of power, sex, abundance, money wearing this. If you are in the position of power, where you call the shots and people answer to you, then you have found your olfactory match. However, I do not recommend it to youngsters, generation Y, clubbers and women.

I'm far from the biggest fan of citrus bombs, but this aromatic is high quality, classy, and has depth. You can forget about getting anywhere close to this level with cheapies such as Victor or Aqua di Selva. Overall this is distinctly a greener, darker and creamier/spicer scent thanks to the clove and nutmeg. Eau Sauvage is much more of a straight up citrus-aromatic than this one is. Wonderful scent! it is a type of lemony, but has a spicy edge and a type of sexyness throughout. maybe it is lily and some musk. It even has a bit of powder in it. patchouli too. What I get from Armani Eau Pour Homme (1984) is a polite mixture of 3/4 Dior Eau Sauvage and 1/4 Azzaro Pour Homme. There's a lemon-like opening, and a pleasant dry down that offers a refreshing antidote to the incense-heavy orientals and musky fougeres of the 80s.
