About this deal

The 21-year-old Bushmills is the oldest whiskey in the standard distillery range. It is a remarkably.. On the palate, the initial hit is quite balanced: neither too sweet, nor too dry. But then, it starts to develop. You get the sweetness of malt and corn, that turns into something like milk chocolate, then strawberry, then classic malt. Finally we get the wood notes of spices and a touch of corn and flowers. Bushmills 21 Year Old single malt whiskey is triple distilled from 100% malted barley and matured in Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels before being finished for two years in Madeira casks. This imbues our whiskey with rich notes of ripe fruit, like succulent apricots and juicy raisins, and gives a beautiful, caramelized nuttiness with hints of smooth dark chocolate. NOSE: Initial accents of zesty citrus fruits intertwine with the distinctive Bushmills honey character, precede lingering sweet aromas of fresh vanilla and creamy milk chocolate

TASTE: Robust flavours of caramelised peaches and mango marry notes of toasted almonds and walnuts, giving exceptional depth and complexity Unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, your use of and membership to the Service are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Not a bad whisky at all, considering that my colleague Heiko and I drank a whole bottle (he 25%, me the rest) to celebrate an event going well. The next day, however, neither of us had a headache. I'm sure that counts for something? It's a great introduction to Bushmills flavours and is quite light when mixed. Amber gold in colour, the use of bourbon-seasoned barrels in finishing this whiskey provides a lovely compliment and lessens the intensity of what are very strong flavours.

NOSE: The robustness of the three woods is immediately evident with big aromas of treacle toffee intermingling with accents sweet spices of cinnamon and nutmeg

NOSE: very gentle and fresh; creamy, a bit of citrus (lemon, lime), banana bread, ripe banana skin, apples, slightly floral, a touch of cocoa powder. TASTE: Deep rich flavours of dark chocolate and toffee precede notes of vanilla sweetness, toasted nuts and just a hint of charred oak Triple distilled and matured in two woods, presumably American oak and sherry casks as the 16 year old, but without the finishing.

Bushmills 10 Year Old single malt whiskey is triple distilled from 100% malted barley and matured for at least 10 years in sherry butts and bourbon barrels, giving it extra luscious notes of vanilla honey, ripe red fruits and creamy milk chocolate. NOSE: Rich aromas of fresh honey and ripe summer fruits combine with delicate notes of sweet hazelnuts and cacao This was my whisky club's bottle for its annual Irish selection in March 2015. It was still hanging around a year later when it made a repeat appearance next to some other Irish bottles in March of this year, which says a lot about how rarely any of us grabbed it during all the club meetings in between.

Bushmills Irish Whiskey is crafted with care at The Old Bushmills Distillery in Country Antrim, Northern Ireland Bushmills 10 is one of my favorite Irish sipping whiskies. It’s just insanely pleasant to sip on and something I can enjoy all day long. It also happens to be the favorite of Bushmills master distiller Colum Egan and that’s a man who has access to more Bushmills than any person on the planet. So if it’s good enough as a daily tipple for him it’s good enough for me! Bushmills 10 years Irish Single Malt Review Nose: Sweet and fruity, also gives you of eucalyptus at the start. Toffee dominates and hints of floral notes are present as well. Bourbon casks are clearly giving the stronger note. Water adds cinnamon and notes of fruitcake. in my opinion the new optics of bushmills has far more style. It is classy and timeless simultaneously.
