About this deal

To start with, this is not a camera for beginners if you have a tight budget, but the camera offers so much for someone looking for a good professional DSLR and are ready to get onto learning and getting used to it, for a good long-term DSLE camera. Not to forget, we’re talking about a camera from Canon that is capable of capturing 4K videos, if there is a need for it. The Canon Eos 200D, released in 2017, hit the photography community instantaneously. There are many features, customizable filters, and more offered in this DSLR. This is the big one. Where the existing EOS 200D can capture full HD video at up to 60/50 frames per second, the EOS 250D embraces the 4K revolution to bring 4K video capture at up to 25/24fps. We’re used to seeing this on mirrorless cameras, but it’s the first time we’ve seen 4K on a low-cost DSLR. 2. Live view autofocus For regular stills photography the EOS 250D/Rebel SL3 has few advantages over the EOS 200D/Rebel SL2, but for video fans, novice users and smartphone upgraders, the newer model has real appeal. Verdict: Canon EOS 250D/SL3 vs EOS 200D/SL2

Don't go looking for any differences between these two cameras on the outside as they are physically identical – apart from the badge. Canon EOS 250D/Rebel SL3 vs EOS 200D/Rebel SL2: what's exactly the same Let’s face it, mirrorless does have real advantages. There’s less camera shake when taking photos, since there’s no need to flip the mirror out of the way. Things are somewhat simpler. The lens can be closer to the sensor, allowing more optical design possibilities. The viewfinder – because it’s really just a mini-screen showing what the sensor is seeing – shows 100% of the scene, not a smaller central section. And you can use the rear monitor for framing your shots. Yep, equivalent lengths of all primes, as well as zooms shot as short end are reported incorrectly. Taking photos has never been easier with the EOS Canon EOS 200D Mark II. Have a look at what Gemma Peanut has to say about this DSLR for beginners. Photography Tips & Tutorials

Are you guys saying that this camera just has one non-removable battery like an iPhone, because that would be insane.... With the standard lens, battery and card in place, the Canon EOS 200D Mark II weighed just 663 grams. It really feels light in the hand. My Panasonic GH4 – with a smaller Micro Four-Thirds sensor – by contrast, is just about 800 grams. It didn’t feel less sturdy for all of that. The right hand bump seemed the right depth for my fingers, while a sculpted channel on the rear guided my thumb between several buttons such that I didn’t accidentally press them. With identical dimensions and near-identical weight, the real differences between the EOS 250D/Rebel SL3 and the EOS 200D/Rebel SL2 are on the inside. Canon EOS 250D/Rebel SL3 vs EOS 200D/Rebel SL2: what's definitely different And what you mean by "direct access"? You can't adjust exposure settings when DSLR is turned off or go to menu. You need to power the DSLR up just like mirrorless. If you mean with "Direct Access" that you can use DSLR like a scope, that is true. But masters don't even need to use viewfinder to previsualize the framing. The Live View focus is the third generation, Dual Pixel CMOS AF3 in Mark II, and only Dual Pixel CMOS AF in Eos 200D.

Canon EOS Rebel SL2 / EOS 200D Review

The Rebel SL3, which is also known as the EOS 250D and EOS Kiss X, is Canon's smallest and lightest DSLR yet, weighing 15.84oz/449g. Also, as I like idea of going to smaller size camera, was looking at Olympus OM DE M10 (1st gen) or Sony A6000 to try out. I like features, as in tilt rear screen, flash shoe, etc. of both, as they're similar. The Canon EOS 200D II gets its power from the new DIGIC 8 processor, but there’s a lot more up its sleeve. Let’s talk about it in the review below. Canon EOS 200D II SpecificationsThat said, the battery lasts kind of forever. According to Canon specifications, it’s good for 1,070 shots with the flash firing at 50%, and 1,630 shots without the flash. Wow! To be honest, I think that viewfinder numbers aren't always as accurate as they seem. I own an 100d/SL1 and an 80d, and I am really hard pressed to notice a difference in the viewfinders. Yes, the 80d's is a bit larger, but in terms of brightness, they are pretty much equal. I have to put them both up to my eyes next to each other to notice a difference. I also own a 450d/Rebel XSi, and it's viewfinder is really dim in comparison to the 100d/SL1 - but officially, they have the exact same specification. I've only played with an 200d/SL2 briefly, but it's viewfinder seemed "just fine" to me. Especially in a camera like the 200d/SL2, I'd much rather like the smaller size and weight of the pentaprism. Now, onto the video recording part. While there is 4K video recording possible with the Canon EOS 200D II, it is not the smoothest and the footage is at 25p at max. You’ll either have to keep the camera stable on a tripod or use one of those DSLR gimbals, as there is no stabilizer except the lens-shift one, which doesn’t give out the desired results, while with Full HD recording, we found it to be better and there was 60p option for 1080p videos when the file format was changed. Burst shooting, meanwhile, can be carried out at a rate of 5fps, while built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow for wireless image transmission and remote control from smartphones and tablets. Spot AF and Smooth Skin options make their debut
