Moving onto the 280mm radiator, and again we see a no-frills design. Made of aluminium, and featuring a simple splash of branding to the side of the unit, its apparent that the finished look once inside your case is going to be a fairly understated look. One positive thing to note with the radiator is that the fin density looks to be really good, which should help with the dissipation of heat when in operation. This is too much for me, especially for music production. When the CPU fan calms down, the case fans are perfect volume. I've tinkered with the cooling profiles to see what I can do, but it's still leaves a lot to be desired. My question is this: can I replace the fans on the Frostflow 150 with silent ones of the same size without issue? Is there anything idiosyncratic about the fittings? Is this likely to cause me any problems?

The more powerful your CPU is, the bigger and better cooler you'll need, no surprises there. If your desktop PC needs a lot of power and you travel with it, you're likely to feel safer with a radiator that's attached to your case via 8 or 12 screws than with a huge chunk of metal hanging off your motherboard. It’s been more than 5 months since we had an ID-Cooling product on our test bench, but today we wait no longer, as we have the privilege of being able to test their newest product on the market…namely the Frostflow+ 280.Also, their own tutorial for Aura Creator shows the temperature dependent function - but it doesn't actually exist for any user it seems. The default one under Armoury Crate just changes to three colours Green, Yellow or Red, at temperatures that you can adjust. But you can't adjust the the colours or brightness and it doesn't blend between them - just instantly changes as it crosses the temp threhsold.
