One thing Haunting Adeline is known for is its spicy chapters. But, soon it wasn’t just the spice that had readers invested in the storyline and rooting for the characters but also it’s mysterious plot. As an avid romance reader, this one was bound to fall short for me. Although it continues to fall under the dark romance category, it was more of a thriller. This book will be much more enjoyable to those who enjoy majority of a thriller element than romance.
What Adeline does not realise is that she has an admirer, Zade. He was obsessed with Adeline the moment he saw her, and now he follows her every move while lurking in the shadows.I was pretty satisfied near the ending of book one - Z got the girl, she accepted him into her life, she solved the mystery of who murdered her grandmother, it was all wrapped up in a neat little bow.

I'll start with honesty. This book destroyed me. And you may think because it is dark and twisted, but the true reasoning is because of the immense pressure to make this one live it up to the first and to be frank, I was a little burnt out. It wrung every last blood, sweat, and tear from my body. And I believe I came out of the other side with something beautiful - a little jagged and imperfect, but beautiful all the same. Haunting Adeline’s spice rating is 5/5 stars, as it has numerous open door romance scenes.
