About this deal

To mount the pedal unit to a racing rig using the bolt mounting points, you’ll need six (6) M6X1 screws to securely fasten the pedal unit to the racing rig.

In the process of creating a modified stand based on your creation as i am a cabinetmaker by trade and have access to a CNC i have made a little 3d model in which i have also added a little side platform to hold the shifter on the left hand side the model is not finished yet so will give an update as i progress I can't afford a real wheel stand so I was wondering if anyone has any links to a good DIY one. Thanks all. As far as adjustability, this stand allows you to adjust the wheel height, wheel angle, pedal position, and even which side the shifter is mounted on. Even with the sturdy steel frame and adjustments, you can still fold this stand up in seconds and store it away when not in use. NOTE: Bolt mounting may also be supplemented with the built-in clamping system (where applicable). For more information on using the clamping system, see Mount and secure the G29 or G920 racing wheel using the clamping system. Another important factor to deciding which stand to buy is how space efficient and portable it will be. Chances are, you will need to move your stand when you are not using it. Maybe you have a multi-purpose desk, or maybe you race in the living room and need to clear it out after your session. The good news is that sim racing stands tend to be pretty small to begin with. They aren’t full rigs with seats, so their footprint isn’t that large. Features

The parts are cut from 3/4" plywood. I generally prefer to use Baltic birch plywood because its dense layers makes for an attractive edge, and its generally free of voids which is nice when you're cutting partial depth slots as I am here. It is slightly heavier than other less-dense plywood but I find the trade-off to be worth it. But our favorite feature is the ability to upgrade this simple wheel stand into a full blown sim racing rig. Next Level Racing offers a racing seat and monitor stand attachment that is compatible with this stand. That gives you a nice upgrade path in the future without the huge upfront cost and commitment to a full rig.

Steering wheel is in good condition, havent been used for a long time and that is a main reason for this sale. If you are in the market for a stand, it’s important to consider what factors make one stand better or worse than another. For this top 3 list, we looked at many different factors when determining which stand you should buy. PriceThe pedal units on the G29 and G920 racing wheels are also equipped with built-in bolt mounting points that can be used to secure the pedal unit to a racing rig. As you would expect, this stand us fully adjustable. Wheel height, pedal angle, shifter position, etc. It’s not as portable as the other options, but you get a lot more strength in return. For optimal cable routing, USB and pedal cables (1, 2) should be routed through the inner channels. The power and optional shifter cables (3, 4) should be routed through the outer channels. When not in use, you can almost instantly fold this stand up for easy storage. This wheel stand is compatible with the Logitech G29/G920 and all other popular sim racing wheels and pedals.
