I have installed them on my summer rims so they will not be used for another month yet. Just as advertised. They were easy to apply and if they work as well as I hope they will, I will let you know. The RimSavers look really good. Co-worker got these and I had no clue these existed so I’m very excited to try them out. He loves his! Alloygator rim protectors cover the edges of your wheels to keep them safe from harm and, until now, have had this market all to themselves. But new Rimblades claim to offer similar protection in just as many colours. So which is better? We fitted Alloygators on the driver’s side of our test car and Rimblades on the passenger side to find out.

Second, while it’s possible that your specific wheels are incompatible with RimSavers, most of the problems people have with adhesive are related to silicone based tire shine. This is the most common type of tire shine, and – unfortunately – just a few molecules of silicone will cause bonding problems between the wheel and the adhesive we use on our product (which is the same adhesive used to attach wheel weights – heavy-duty stuff). I came very close yesterday to scuffing one of my alloys on my ST2 and my stomach dropped so i was thinking of getting Rim Blades to stop me scuffing them in the future and was after some opinions on what you guys think and if you recommend them was thinking of going for some red ones to match the red brake callipers, The Razor Lip is a flexible alternative to a chin spoiler or front splitter. Always been satisfied with the service and great product. the only thing I have a concern about is the width of the new Rimsaver. I used the original on my Crossfire and I like the size of them. When I finish one, then I can decide. This product and support is the best.Due to the unique patented profile, Rimblades® Original are conformable to a multitude of different wheel shapes (although they do require a continuous surface). I had a problem with one of mine which came off whilst driving. Darren was knowledgable, helpful and just a genuinely decent bloke. Wasn’t the products fault but likely due to shining product preventing adhesion. Darren pointed me in the right direction with a spray to clean beforehand and all been good since. Our test looked at how easy each was to fit, then we rated the protection the products offered by driving very slowly along the same stretch of kerb, noting any scuff marks to each protector or alloy wheel. Cost was the final factor. I finally got chance to fit my Rimblades® Original's on Tuesday and OMG they look superb, I'm so glad I got the red ones as they have really set the car off.
