I have already read a lot of Jacqueline Wilson's books and I always love to read more. This is an amazing book and there is not really anything wrong with it. I really enjoyed this book and I think Jacquline Wilson is a really good writer. I think she should write more stories of these children in World War 2 as they are really good stories. As well as winning many awards for her books, including the Children's Book of the Year, Jacqueline is a former Children's Laureate, and in 2008 she was appointed a Dame. The author gives a fascinating view of the lives of thousands of children who were evacuated from London to the countryside during WWII. In 1939, the threat of Germany bombing London and other major cities caused the decision to send children to safety in rural areas.

The author is teaching us this because we need to be capable of reminding ourselves that we are amazing the way we are and that there is no reason to feel bad about ourselves.
