The sink basin in the same bathroom runs hot water as expected. I took some temperature readings as recommended by Bristan with the combi-boiler set to 60deg C. I then took a digital thermometer and have measured the sink to be 55 deg C (scalding to touch). Meanwhile the faulty shower temperature is at 32 deg C. Power Showers
There’s a lot to like about the Bristan Glee. It comes with nearly every feature you could ever want in a shower, from phased shutdown to temperature stabilisation, multiple power settings and a digital temperature display. The only thing missing is multiple spray patterns. It's frustrating as Bristan have conducted an 'escalation meeting' on our case; attended by head engineers, designers and tech specialists but they have not come up with any useful solutions and have resorted to sending out a new unit.
