Each cleverly cut flap draws you further into a beautifully vibrant world of huge elephants, slithery snakes and growling tigers. A fun alphabet/animal book that asks the reader to guess the next animal, though I don't think it is possible to guess them all on the first try it encourages participation and will have the readers thinking what the next first letter will be. It can be used for younger kids, or kids without such a grasp of the animal kingdom, to help broaden their knowledge, but part of the fun of this one definitely comes from the questions such as "Who is bigger than a deer?

It has great illustrations that are full of color, some surprising flips ups and cutouts, and use some atypical animals for the letters that will expand kids knowledge of letter concepts.
