About this deal

With that you get access to Disney Plus original series and movies like Loki, Hawkeye, The Book of Boba Fett, Luca and more, as well as large archive of classic Disney and 20th Century Fox classics.

In the flashcard summary of Beatlemania which begins the series, he’s portrayed as a sly wit who also has his head screwed on (“It can’t go on” is his prescient 1964 summary of the band’s future). I guess we’ve already waited 50+ years, so a few months shouldn’t matter much, but I have a major pet peeve about being jerked around. Because of the wealth of tremendous footage Jackson has reviewed, which he has spent the past three years restoring and editing, “The Beatles: Get Back” will be presented as three separate episodes. Megan Colligan, president of IMAX Entertainment, added: “Ever since Peter Jackson’s beautiful and illuminating docuseries debuted, we’ve heard non-stop from fans who want to experience its unforgettable rooftop performance in IMAX. Sir Peter Jackson's reasoning behind it was, "The Beatles are scouse boys and they freely swear but not in an aggressive or sexual way.Michael Lindsay-Hogg was hired to direct the concert and document the rehearsals with unfettered “fly-on-the-wall” filming and mono audio recording on two camera-linked Nagra reel-to-reel tape machines.

Jabez Olssen (“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”) serves as the documentary’s editor, and the music is mixed by Giles Martin (“Rocketman”) and Sam Okell (“Yesterday”). What that climax might be precisely is never quite decided on, and nor is one artificially imposed here. Exemplifying Spector’s signature Wall of Sound production style on the Let It Be album is his orchestral overdub on “The Long and Winding Road”, which became The Beatles’ 20th U.This new three part series – edited from his 150 hours of audio and 60 hours of film – runs at nearly eight hours and is pitched as a long-overdue corrective to that impression. I really also loved the bonus features, including the 60 Minutes segment and the Stephen Colbert TWO PART interview with Peter Jackson from two separate weeks WOW! The Beatles: Get Back will be released on a Blu-Ray Collector’s Set and DVD this summer, it has been announced today (May 17). Russell, a 10-piece rock band and a 60-piece orchestra performed more than 50 years of Russell’s classic Rock, Pop and Blues to a sold-out crowd. It also shows the wonderful times we had together, and combined with the newly remastered Let It Be album, stands as a powerful reminder of this time.

In a podcast interview last year, Jackson discussed the technical challenge of taking footage or tape that was previously believed to be worthless and, through AI, suddenly revealing conversation buried beneath the noise and cross chatter. This new blu-ray edition doesn’t add any additional material – it isn’t the longer “Director’s Cut” which Jackson teased in promo interviews – but it does present Beatles fans with a physical presence in their collections. The third and final disc features footage of the group performing on the rooftop of their Apple offices. It is a detailed account of the creative process, with the crafting of iconic songs under pressure, set amid the social climate of early 1969. We are so excited to partner with Disney to bring Get Back to an entirely new stage and give Beatles fans everywhere a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch and hear their heroes in the unrivalled sight and sound of IMAX.For the first time, The Beatles’ final performance together as a group will be made available in its entirety. I felt acutely – and this is the Beatles fan part of me kicking in – anything I don’t include in this movie might go back in the vault for another 50 years.
