The games experts at Hasbro, the brand behind Cluedo have chosen three of the spookiest Tudor properties in the UK (Rothely Lakehouse, Northumberland; Horton Court, Gloucestershire and Selworthy Farmhouse, Somerset) and are giving Cluedo fans the chance to fully immerse themselves in the mystery with a Cluedo Escape Playcation. The series of escape room board games accompanies a relaunch of the classic crime-solving board game planned for 2023, publisher Hasbro announced during its Investor Day earlier this week. I got this as a gift because it looked interesting, like it had some good plot and progression to the game.

The release of Cluedo Treachery at Tudor Mansion marks the beloved board game’s first-ever collaborative experience. After you do it once you can't do it again, but could gift it to someone else to do for fun as a used game. I enjoyed this game and I’d love if they made more but just be aware it’s on the easy side and is a one time game. Cluedo Escape: Treachery at Tudor Mansion takes the tabletop whodunnit - known as Clue in the US - surrounding the untimely demise of Mr Black and its gaggle of colourful suspects, from Colonel Mustard to Miss Scarlett, and turns it into a 90-minute escape room you can play at home.
After escaping the mansion, players review the clues they've gathered to make a correct accusation and win the game.
