We’ve seen little hats used for all sorts of things, from desk ornaments to bunting, gear stick warmers to Christmas tree decorations. Last year, over 10 million people trusted us to help them with some of the biggest issues in their lives. We started putting little hats on our smoothies back in 2003, giving 25p to Age UK for every behatted bottle sold. It has kept me busy through some lonely evenings, and I’ve enjoyed helping those less fortunate than myself. The money raised helps Age UK to be there for older people who are most in need and could help fund things like lunches and social activities.We've been working together since 2003, asking the country's crafters to knit little hats for the tops of innocent smoothie bottles. They continue to be committed as ever to helping older people who are most in need through their Big Knit campaign with Age UK and hats will be on bottles in January. If you can’t do that, when laid out flat, your hat dimensions should measure about 5-7cm along the bottom and at least 3cm high.
