About this deal

American comedian Jerrod Carmichael serves as the album's narrator as it progresses, speaking short lines to make sense of Tyler's and the title character Igor's state of mind. and considering the type of Kanye album we're about to get, I think he might be past his prime (and yes, I really enjoy "ye"). I’m not necessarily saying the CD sounds better, just that the vinyl isn’t up to the high expectations. The vocals, again acting as an instrument for the beginning of the track, work beautifully in tandem with the magical synths throughout the album. A music video for the song, "Earfquake", was released alongside the album's release on May 17, 2019.

While also perfectly illustrating the turning point where igors dark side starts to show itself, and overcome his care for his love interest. The album employs the " Igor" literary archetype to explore themes associated with love, such as heartbreak, loss, and jealousy. No skipping, only two slight bumps at the very end of "Earfquake", but other than that a flawless record. Yes, the mastering could be better (bass are great, medium not very apparent) but hey, it's still an hip-hop record so it checks where it needs to.Igor's theme: This perfect opening begins with a long synthy wave of noise, one that is oddly unsettling and somewhat incomplete feeling, before the coolest drum line jumps in with weird and flashy vocals. On June 3, 2019, Tyler announced his forthcoming tour for the album, which was supported by Jaden Smith, Blood Orange, and GoldLink. The lyrics act more as another instrument throughout most of this record, and not a thing to be studied. d] "Gone, Gone / Thank You" contains excerpts from "Hey Girl", written and performed by Cullen Omori; and interpolations from "Fragile", written by Alan O'Day and Tatsuro Yamashita, and performed by Yamashita.

Ethereal, Tyler’s best project An album I care deeply about, in part because of its conceptual simplicity and beauty. This record feels to me not like a bunch of songs, fitting loosely some theme, but a poetic love story, that has to be listened in its entirety, for the full experience. Narratively, igor is slowly coming to terms with the fact that he truly has moved on from his infatuation. While the lyrical content is glossed over, it’s still a fascinating listen and demonstrates Tyler’s rarely rivaled attention to detail in his work.
