About this deal

Like most VA panels, exhibits some black smearing if there is a lot of motion, but it's not that noticeable. Minor bloom and halo effect caused by the mini-LEDs around bright objects, however the contrast ratio mitigates the effect greatly. Enhanced with the quantum dot technology, it has more precise color and higher peak brightness, letting you see the deepest black and the brightest white through the screen. Height 130mm, forward 5°, backward: 20°, left/right ±45°, and pivot: ±90° provide all-round perfect viewing angles.

For better protection of your eyes, the KTC M27T20monitor is flicker-free and designed with a low-blue mode that reduces harmful shortwave blue lightsand minimizes eye fatigue. Unfortunately the vast majority are significantly slower than the ‘higher end’ Odyssey models, so I wouldn’t expect the M27T20 to necessarily match the likes of the Odyssey G7 or Odyssey Neo G7 and G8 in terms of pixel responsiveness. SEE THE REAL BLACKS AND WHITES] Present perfect color with 10Bit display color, 110% DCI-P3 / 111% sRGB color gamut, color accuracy △E<2, 600 cd/m2 HDR Brightness, 135000:1 Contrast Ratio, (High-Dynamic Range)HDR10 support on this 4k OLED monitor. For desktop use its OK, but being a VA panel means off angles are not great, and depending on the background, you might notice it being slightly darker in front of you than the rest of the screen. The Philips 34M2C7600MV and ViewSonic XG341C-2K we’ve reviewed recently for example are Mini LED models with CSOT HVA panels and have relatively weak pixel responsiveness. If you look at Windows HDR Calibration, it only uses a full screen patch plus single non-full screen patch size and bases certain adjustments on that. Home / 27 inch / KTC 27 Inch 4K Gaming Monitor, Mini LED monitor, Fast IPS, HDR1000, Built-in Speakers, HDMI2. Not really a con, but this monitor is REALLY bright out of the box, but then again, this is what one wants when consuming HDR content. The 165 hz refresh rate works beautifully if you’re into valorant and other competitive games but beware of hdr compatibility as you’re gonna be limited to 144hz if you want it on, which is not a big difference for me and other gamers.

The contrast is very good as well, it can quite dark albeit with some crushing, but only in the very darkest areas. YOUR LEGACY AND POTENTIAL HAVE NO BOUNDARIES] The 3-sided frameless design with 178° (H) / 178° (V) viewing angle unveils maximum space for bigger, bolder gameplay. It is compatible with FreeSync and G-Sync and avoids screen tearing and stuttering for a fantastic gaming experience.Do you know program DWM_LUT, with it you can apply 3dlut files to sdr and hdr modes, to correct all inconsistencys! VESA wall monitor mount pattern gives you plenty of options for mounting your monitor on whatever wall or desk suits your fancy. Mini LED Monitor] 27 inch HVA panel features MiniLED backlight technology (576 zones full-array local dimming), lets video games be seen in their best light. Adjusting based on software is pretty futile really, you may subjectively prefer the output but its not really calibration in its truest sense. inch KTC 27 Inch Mini LED monitor, 1440P 165Hz/144Hz Gaming Monitor, HDR1000, Built-in Speakers, HDMI2.

This means it should have some pretty different characteristics, particularly with regards to response times. It could potentially be useful in some cases, especially for movies and games which don’t include an HDR calibration slider feature. It’s a 1440p mini-LED backlit monitor like the GP27Q, but unlike that one, the M27T20 actually uses an HVA panel from CSOT.It simply doesn’t suit our reviewing style which includes extremely detailed subjective analysis that is entirely unique to our reviews. With a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT response time, the gaming monitor effectively reduces motion blur and makes the action look smoother. So it isn’t able to thoroughly and precisely calibrate the HDR performance, but it could certainly still have a positive effect in some cases by ‘tightening things up’.

I also wanted to point out that my model had zero backlight bleed, which is the first time I can ever say that. Ah yes you’re absolutely right, for some reason I thought it used an IPS-type panel rather than VA and didn’t check the specifications recently. HDR is in a weird place, sometimes it looks awesome but like, in Cyberpunk for instance it makes everything just wortse. Highly recommend that one upgrades the firmware as it resolves a lot of issues when using HDR and VRR at the same time. This particular monitor is identical to the GP27Q with the exception of the Cooler Master using an IPS panel while the KTC uses a VA panel. It complies with the standard of DisplayHDR 1000, which offers ultra-high brightness and contrast and improves color saturation. Anti-glare and flicker free technology continuously removes screen flicker for less distraction or eye strain. compare to my current samsung monitor image on ktc is very sharp, small details stand out more, I try to adjust this using osd of the monitor, but with no luck, dont no what why is that.
