They’re plain webbing straps, like the sternum strap, and don’t add much to the carry comfort, so we’re glad they have slots on either side of the bag to slide in and stay out of the way. It definitely will get easier with practice but if you use this as your main luggage you won’t need to pack it away that often. This means that there aren’t many pockets, but the one’s that ARE available are well designed and extremely convenient – the end pocket being the epitome of that. The Transporter weighs slightly less than its other closest competitors, and it achieves that weight without any significant sacrifices in quality or functionality.These zips are also lockable and will accept most luggage padlocks, so you can ensure your belongings are kept safe from prying hands. Thanks to its double-coated 840-denier nylon with a TPU coating on each side, the Transporter does an excellent job of repelling water. The Osprey Transporter is a high-quality, weather-resistant duffel bag that is comfortable to carry with its excellent backpack harness. The major shortcomings of the Osprey Sojourn Shuttle are simply trade-offs inherent to the roller design. Some travelers may not care about the weight of their duffel, but for others it’s a factor, and particularly with heavier rolling models.
