If you’re a pro photographer, and you shoot sports, weddings, or fast action photography, the Sony 24-70 2. It's not just the speed of the AF motor, but the speed of the iris actuator that's a factor, obviously. For photographers who need advanced photo editing options, Pixelmator Pro for macOS offers layer-based editing, machine learning-powered adjustment and selection tools, and features such as Denoise and Super Resolution. However, there are also plenty of differences between the two models, especially in terms of camera and imaging features.

Now let’s move onto portraits, the bread and butter of this kind of lens at the long-end of its range, so here’s what you’ll get with the 24-70 GM II at 70mm f2. with continuous autofocus and wide area working fine with the A1’s eye detection tracking me effortlessly around the frame. As before, closing the aperture gradually improves the quality, brightening the corners and boosting the detail. These capable cameras should be solid and well-built, have both the speed and focus to capture fast action and offer professional-level image quality. My main photo subject was landscape and lifestyle photography, much of it done on cloudy days with even, filtered light.
The really big difference though is the weight which at 695g is comfortably lighter than the Mark I at 886g, not to mention the competition with Nikon, Sigma and Canon weighing-in at 805, 830 and 900g respectively.
