Great humour as expected from Rosie being comedic and certainly fine for children to read in fact I’d highly recommend you do! However, it will be children living with disabilities and particularly cerebral palsy that will really benefit from this book. You've probably heard this already, but just in case you haven't; Edie has cerebral palsy, just like the author of this novel, Rosie Jones.

Read this all in one go, I couldn't put it down (except for when I put it down for a couple of minutes in the middle to go get biscuits)! But while she’s plotting her reunion with Oscar, she accidentally gets cast as the lead in the school play.Her writing style is so accessible and companionable, I know the kids would find it cool and accessible. ok I knoooow this is classed as a “kids book”, but I’ve never felt so represented in a book in my whole life and that’s saying something.

It was so innocently written and appropriate yet also subtly added less heteronormative love stories to the middle school canon.
