About this deal

I’ve not watched any of his dramas so I’m certainly going to correct this and read more of his work. I can honestly say I do NOT see that coming as the twists and turns come rapidly towards the very unexpected end. A truth that some people are determined to keep secret, people who will stop at nothing to keep the truth buried. Logan is at the top of his game - The Mother is a propulsive novel of secrets, heartbreaking betrayal, and what lengths an individual goes to put 'family first'. This was a really gripping and tense story ,dealing with a mother trying to clear her name , find out the truth , and to be able to get her sons back in her life again.

The Mother has just shot up to being my favourite book by Logan which is an impressive feat as I have pretty much loved all of his other books. Logan has devised anintricate plot of shifting loyalties and duelling timelines, but the real triumph in The Mother is that fierce, flawed title character.Logan is at the top of his game - The Mother is a propulsive novel of secrets, heartbreaking betrayal, and what lengths an individual goes to put 'family first' * L.

My 2022 thriller The Curfew was a Sunday Times bestseller and follows the events of a hot midsummer's night - when five teenagers go up to the woods to celebrate the end of exams, and only four come out. A tense and compelling thriller that demands to be read in one sitting, with a final twist that will make you gasp . Right from the start you are gripped as we join Heather Vernon watching her own funeral and mentioning her husbands funeral. J. Finn, International bestselling author of The Woman in the Window 'A heart-stopping, twisting, unmissable thrill-ride.Given her background and situation she could easily have left prison broken, however she is spurred on by the determination to see her sons again. That was how it started: giving a few minutes respite to a flustered young mother sitting opposite her on the train. Recently released from prison, she is on a mission to find out who killed her husband and get her children back.

It would also be a perfect treat for any book clubs as I’m sure it would lead to lots of discussions afterwards. It has it good moments of various revelations, but they weren't ones that kept you guessing or at edge as to what happens next! When Liam is murdered everyone immediately jumps to the conclusion that Heather has murdered him because of the obvious tensions within the marriage. She is sent down for the murder and thus separated from her beloved sons and her life has spiralled out of control.

I've always hated books or movies related to political corruption, conspiracy theories etc, maybe because i hate politics in general. This riveting, action-packed, gripping, pacey, and absorbing thriller was impossible to put down and ended with a gasp-worthy twist. The Mother is a tightly woven, binge-worthy thriller that twists and turns like the proverbial roller coaster. She will stop at nothing to clear her name and nothing will stop you turning the pages of this gripping read until the satisfying finale. Heather is determined to go back over the case of her murdered husband and find out who his killer was. Yes, everyone knew when she was at Owens, but Musgrove’s was the one place no one knew that she would be there at that moment.
