I usually use the foaming bath butter but today I wanted to share how to make whipped soap base from scratch.

To account for this difference and to make things easier, all your ingredients should be using the same unit of measure - in this case, grams. Fragrance oils work better in whipped soap than in regular cold process soap, but for best results, especially as a beginner, choose essential oils.

When considering the total weight of your finished product, you want to ensure that no more than 3% of that total weight is made up of your fragrance oils.
