About this deal

The film premiered at the Anime Expo 2016 convention in Los Angeles, California on July 3, 2016, and premiered in Japan on August 26, 2016.

Its title was later changed to Kimi no Musubime ( きみの結びめ, Your Connection) and Kimi wa Kono Sekai no Hanbun ( きみはこの世界のはんぶん, You Are Half of This World ) before becoming Kimi no Na Wa. My friends and I consider most Makoto Shinkai films as "5 Wallpapers per Second" and for good reason. One day, Mitsuha awakens in a room that is not her own and suddenly finds herself living the dream life in Tokyo—but in Taki's body!

The first day after the body switching, Mitsuha wakes up in her body with no recollection of the previous day. Stunningly animated and well acted, this extraordinary Japanese coming-of-age tale is equal parts body-swap comedy, time-travel romance, and adventure film. After the wide release of the film adaptation in August 2016, the novel reached the top place in Oricon's weekly bunkobon sales charts for three consecutive weeks. For all its thematic complexities, there is plenty to laugh about too, from a recurrent gag about Taki being caught fondling “his” breasts while in the throes of a body swap, to the gentle teasings of Taki’s co-worker Ms Okudera, who seems more attracted to the transposed Mitsuha than to any awkward boy.

Indonesian film distributor Encore Films announced that it would premiere the film in Indonesia on December 7. After the halfway mark, the plot becomes incredibly contrived with no logic, reason, or thought put into its creation. Scene composition is mostly great, the animation was very high quality, and the art style was beautiful.Whey they realize it's "really" happening, they begin to leave reports in each other's cell phones, recounting important events. In 2016 Itomori, Mitsuha wakes up in Taki's body, staggers to the summit of the mountain and realizes that the comet fragment fell on her and killed her. Taki awakens in Mitsuha's body on the morning of the festival, where Hitoha speaks directly to him, explaining that the body-switching phenomenon has always been in their family. He accidentally makes Yotsuha think he has 'lost it' while sobbing, and is unable to convince Mitsuha's grandmother that the comet fragment will strike the town, although, interestingly, Mitsuha's grandmother notes that she and her daughter (Mitsuha's deceased mother) all experienced the body-swapping.

That term lived on as long as it could through the generations, but now only the elderly even remember the term. All seems to be going well until the City Hall is able to track down and stop Sayaka's speeches for evacuation, and to which, Tessie tells Mitsuha to convince her father to help, to which she runs towards City Hall. She is a 17-year-old student in her second year at Itomori High School, but in reality is three years older than Taki. He also described the film's "over-deliver[y]" of "the comedy of adolescent embarrassment and awkwardness" and its ending for being "To the surprise of no one who has ever seen a Japanese seishun eiga (youth drama)". In such a dilemma is the Church obliged to build an army to fight against them and there happened a fierce battle between Human and Devil. Scenes of astral magic and natural disaster (an understandable preoccupation of Japanese cinema) lend a degree of spectacle that would put many live-action blockbusters to shame, while a hallucinogenic diversion into chalk pastel wonderment will transport even the most sceptical viewer to another realm. The New York Times described it as "a wistfully lovely Japanese tale", [87] while David Sims of The Atlantic said it was "a dazzling new work of anime".
