About this deal

It wasn’t until I was a few dozen pages into the story that I realized Christopher Nolan had used this as the basis for The Dark Knight Rises.

It’s also an incredibly mean book and maybe the current state of the world that created this book club in the first place made me a little less endeared to its plot. When records of a man named Blackfire show up from fifty years ago, it's hypothesized they could be for this Blackfire's father. But you have to keep in mind, when we first see Batman, he’s already endured a week of torture (we know he’s been beaten and stabbed), starvation, and been drugged semi-regularly. I promise we’ll talk more about the ending later, but I want to focus on the homeless attacking criminals for a second because I think this is a really raw, disturbing, and unexpected aspect of this book. Royal Flush Gang Batman Miniature Game New Releases Starters Batman Joker Soldiers of Fortune The Riddler The Penguin Two-Face Mr.First published in mid to late 1988 as a four part miniseries, Batman: The Cult appeared as the realities and uncertainties of modern life made their way into the comics world.

Jim Starlin- hacía mancuerna con uno de los mejores dibujantes de horror que jamás han existido -el Sr.It was written by Jim Starlin, illustrated by Bernie Wrightson, colored by Bill Wray and edited by Denny O'Neil. When next he wakes, he finds himself chained underground, held captive by a religious cult led by Deacon Joseph Blackfire, who in his religious fervor, is determined to clean up Gotham by eradicating the criminal element. I had heard about Batman: The Cult but I hadn’t a clear idea of what was about, but I knew that if I have the chance to get it, I haven’t to hesitate about it. Batman suddenly finds himself the prisoner of a mysterious religious cult led by Deacon Joseph Blackfire. This is the weirdest Batman story I have ever read, and I have very mixed feelings about it (some spoilers ahead).
