For what it’s worth, not that I consider myself a baby whisperer, but Calvin didn’t seem to be a fan either.

The baby carrier is suitable from birth, without any inserts, and the drool pads are an excellent optional extra (especially for teething babies). This remarkable Soft Structured Baby Carrier is not only versatile with four different carry options, but amazingly comfortable for both you and your little one. In the inward-facing frontal position, you can simply adjust a couple of snaps to make sure it’s safe for those tiny legs.

I also like that at the end of each strap, there is an elastic band sewn in so that you can roll up the excess strap fabric and not have the straps dangling off your sides.Then there is a significant subset of parents who tell me they like the firm waist band of the carriers with thick padding but they find it too much on their shoulders, but then when they try a lighter weight carrier they like the feeling on their shoulders but don't like the more flimsy waist.

When we demonstrate the Gemini in consultations or at baby shows, parents always comment on how comfortable and supportive this carrier is.Adjustments need to happen before you put your baby in the carry, so if you get it wrong, you'll likely need to start over. And it wasn’t easy to pick a carrier, considering I was pregnant with my first child and didn’t know what I was looking for.

Birth to toddler, the Beco Gemini is easy to use, super comfy and keeps your precious bundle close to your heart! We have come across some complaints that it has some sort of synthetic smell coming from it when new, but I do not feel that it is a very big problem considering that after one wash smell goes away, to us it smells like a new product.I never quite feel like I can get the carrier tight enough around my waist to hold up this giant baby. I think bubs prefer to look out rather than at your back but when they need a snooze or you need to do something with you hands, it is so much better to have them on your back.
