About this deal

So, if you don’t want to worry about ruining or dirtying your washing line rope, these work wonders.

It has long lifespan to protect the outdoor washing line against all seasons of weather and ensures that the color will not fade after a long time using. If you’re into more organic and natural resources, you can get washing line ropes made in jute and cotton. This is the case with PVC washing lines, which sometimes have a strong steel core or twisted polypropylene core to make them strong and low stretch. One things that's not obvious from the instructions is that you should put the bottom bolts in first but leave them ~10mm out from the wall, then you can easily rest the Wallfix on these screws before screwing in the top screws and finally finishing of tightening of the bottom screws. The Brabantia Lift-O-Matic has a near-to-the-ground loading position with an outside line height of 129 cm.

Even with the supplied wallplugs and screwbolts the Wallfix feels sturdy and well attached to the wall which is a welcome surprise as I'm used to binning supplied fixings that usually come with items as they are usually flimsy - not so in this case I'm happy to say.The range of clothes lines includes a variety of space-saving options, as well as retractable versions and traditional lines that can be easily attached to anchor points or dedicated washing line poles. Caraselle is unique for the innovative design and development of many of its products, which are done mainly in house and are representative of British design at its best. You can hang 4 loads of washing without fearing that it might bend the arms with too much weight as well. Adjust the dryer smoothly to your ideal working height (between 129 and 187 centimetres) and turn it around to hang up your washing. As well as saving you money on your electricity bills, drying your clothes outside rather than in a tumble dryer is much better for the planet, so it’s great to catch the sunshine and dry weather while you can.

If space is an issue, you could opt for a rotary washing line, which is shaped like an inverted pyramid on a stand – an example is shown further down. Our Essential rotary clothesline is small enough not to get in the way, standing in your garden or shed, but large enough for a lot of laundry. Produced by the market-leading manufacturer Everlasto, these pulley lines are highly dependable and come with a stong low-stretch sisal core and a natural cotton cover; so they’re soft to touch yet sturdy.

In short, you can leave our wash line out in the garden for months without having to worry about it becoming brittle. Of course, this adjustable rotary clothesline also has extra sturdy UV-resistant anti-slip lines, which always remain stretched tight. Do you need a temporary solution to tide you over until you can get your broken garden washing line fixed? The arms also rotate smoothly so you can hang all the clothes while standing still – just pull the nearest arm closer to get to its free space! Most materials should easily handle normal washing loads, but if you need something more heavy-duty, reinforced lines like steel-core washing lines are your best bet.

For a more hard-wearing solution that’s perfect all year round, you should use a weatherproof cotton clothesline. This means that within the lines there is a miniature twisted polypropylene rope, which gives them the strength to hold the heaviest of loads. All Brabantia rotary clotheslines are fully weatherproof, strong and sturdy, but also easy to move and open. With a total of 20 meters with each purchase, you have more than enough clotheslines for outdoors to hang all your clothes, and maybe even that of your neighbor.Although it can be a little stretchy, PVC lines are usually reinforced with a rigid steel core or polypropylene core to make them strong and low stretch. I drilled into rough cast and it was no issues, as long as You have the correct type of drills (8mm masonry) and a drill Powerful enough to drill into hard surface you shouldn’t go wrong. However, if the line is over too long a distance and not strong enough this could lead the clothesline to sag – and with a lot of heavy clothes on the washing line, it could sag so much to the point where your clean washing could end up on the dirty floor!
