About this deal

A major selling point of the Cobra GTRM43 is the handles. While they might not be the main event, they definitely have a lot to get excited about. If you have found that mowing the lawn causes you discomfort then the soft grip handles will be a welcome addition. The controls are easy to reach and there is an option to adjust the handle to any angle, making mowing far more comfortable (this angle adjustment is not available on the smaller models).

This service use FedEx, Parcelforce, TNT, UK MAIL, Palletways, UPS, Royal Mail and APC delivery serivices withing the UK. Unlike the equivalent cordless range of Cobra mowers, Cobra have added a rear roller to this GTRM40 mower to produce a striped lawn appearance. Just bear in mind that, as with all electric mowers, they are lightweight and will not produce a defined and long lasting stripes that you would achieve with a heavy petrol mower. Henton & Chattell are also behind other well-known gardening equipment brands, such as Briggs & Stratton. Earlier, I mentioned that the Cobra GTRM38 benefits from four wheels as well as a rear roller. This is not something that you see combined on many electric lawn mowers particularly those that have a mulching plug option included too, so these certainly are features that set it apart from the rest. I was so pleased to see that Cobra have provided larger rear wheels for improved manoeuvrability and stability too. The Cobra GTRM38 comes with a 40 litre grass collection bag which is easy to attach, remove and empty. It features a full indicator so that you always know when it is time to empty. When it comes to lawn mowers specifically, Cobra has a wide range of products available, including robotic mowers, hover mowers, rotary petrol mowers, and cordless electric mowers. Who makes Cobra lawn mowers? This is one of the cheapest and simplest lawn mowers that Cobra makes right now, because it has a small cutting width, and needs to be plugged in at all times when mowing.

Cobra specialises in petrol mowers, and the M40B is one of their mid-size options, with a 40cm cutting width. This is a reasonably expensive mower, but it’s a great investment to make, especially for large lawns. If you have a large garden and want to minimise your environmental footprint when mowing, the Cobra MX4140V is a bigger, slightly sturdier option. Cobra is a brand name of Henton & Chattell – one of the UK’s biggest garden machinery distributors, founded in 1931. Straight off the bat, you can appreciate that this is an incredibly powerful lawn mower with an 1800 watt motor that will ensure you get a beautiful cut from the blades, even when the lawn has been left to grow long. But not only is this a very powerful machine, it is also the most powerful out of the entire GTRM electric range. To give you a visual representation of the Cobra GTRM40 please watch the video review below – please note this is the slightly smaller model GTRM38. The grass box is large, but it isn’t massive, at 55 litres. For large lawns, you might need to empty it once or twice while you’re mowing. For those with very small gardens, you might opt for the more compact 1300w, 34cm GTRM34. Again, this boasts many of the same features so you aren’t missing out on anything important.
