About this deal

Depending on the size of the PSU, up to two 2.5” HDDs or SSDs can be mounted in the drive bay. This drive bay could potentially be mounted with rubber spacers to reduce vibration. A third drive can be mounted behind the front cover.

The all-aluminium body will be manufactured again by Lian Li in Taiwan per their highest quality standards. A commitment to quality lies at the core of our business philosophy. The temperature isn't really an issue; Both Zen3 and Zen4 have silicon health agents which (outside of faulty Asus BIOSes of late) will keep the silicon at healthy long-term temperatures. They're going to run hot, yes, but still within limits and the actual amount of heat dumped into your tiny mITX case is never more than the PPT, regardless of the temperature. After that you have a test report for your case and you are able to write the CE conformity declaration. At this point, if you really want a tiny PC, it's a boatload easier to just accept that the flagship/halo CPUs and GPUs aren't aimed at mITX any more. The actual availability of those boards is atrocious though. AusWolfI'm not worried about heat dumped into the case. My point is that with less surface area, you need a more capable cooler with more airflow to keep your silicon temperature low.Yeah, that's what I'm saying. You shouldn't be worried about your silicon temperature because that's what the boost algorithm and silicon health agent are for; Unless you have an excess of cooling, they will get the maximum performance out of the available cooling while keeping the roasty-toasty silicon at a safe temperature for its long-term health. The front USB type C port delivers power on my ASUS ROG Strix B550-I with its USB 3.2 Gen 1 connector, but does not transfer data at all. My Oculus Quest 2 stays dead. But I can charge my phone. Great. The A4-SFX case is a one-man project with the goal of creating the smallest case possible while still using high-end standardized components, such as Core i7 processors and powerful full-length GPUs such as the GeForce GTX 980 Ti.

With the CE declaration a company guarantee, that there product conforms all laws for this type of product. This means the EU had specified a ton of guidelines for every product. The DAN A4-SFX V3has an extremely compact chassis, measuring a mere 112 x 205 x 327 mm with a volume of just 7.2 litres, that's roughly the size of a shoe box. Through excellent engineering the interior space has been perfectly laid out so that essential hardware only takes up the minimum space required.

AusWolfThat's the thing. The air dumped into your case should move, otherwise, it's just gonna be recycled by your CPU cooler, which affects silicon temperature as well. Sure, it won't kill itself, but throttling can be an issue.Yes and no. Define "throttling" :D

On the software side, the test setup includes Windows 10 Pro with Furmark and Prime95 both running at the same time to put the maximum load on both the processor and the graphics card. While Real Temp offers excellent and repeatable temperature results, we employ a REED Instruments SD-947 Data Logging Thermometer with four K-Type sensors that have been placed as closely as possible to the benchmarked areas of the CPU, GPU, M.2 SSD, and motherboard chipset. A fifth sensor is used to monitor the room temperature for an accurate delta T result. We let the chassis sit at idle until temperatures reached equilibrium. Next, our stress-testing load is started, and it continues to run until temperatures are stable. The temperature result for each section of the case is the highest value measured during the test run. All reported temperatures are normalized to 20°C room temperature. We believe SFF computers are the future for PC builders – whether you like it or not – and expect to see more and more PC builders turn to the mini-ITX form factor from ATX and look to build smaller, compact systems with equal performance to ATX systems.

As I know many of the products that sell by startup over crowdfunding aren’t registered and have real CE declaration with test report, because they think we aren’t located in the EU so what could happen or they don't know these laws. But this could be a problem and destroy your company faster as you can look if a person will be hurt by your product, a bigger company like Silverstone, Lian Li see you as a competitor or a lawyer wan’t to earn money by serve a notice to you. I can only recommand deal with the laws of the countries where you like to export, because every succesfull company do this. MethodologyWe measure several temperatures and the system noise level across all cases. Every test is performed with the same set of components installed. The out-of-the-box fan setup is used, connected to the motherboard, with the board adjusting fan speed automatically. This puts the onus of noise and performance on the case manufacturers and motivates them to actually care about thermal performance instead of simply using active cooling as a marketing bulletin point.

Technical Details

They folded the rinser cable like so that you cannot fit a 14mm case fan under it. According to the specs the case even holds a 15mm fan. Folding a super expensive rinser cable is no fun. My Dan A4 H2O can still handle high end hardware (not the i9 without an undervolt/power limits :D ), and a big GPU is still going to perform better here than a small one. The sides and top panels are perforated, there's holes everywhere...but there's literally a single RTX 4090 SKU that will fit (the ventus). The FE are a no go because the flow through design could only work with a 4-slots design layout. (There's an offset system for the Two slot FE) In spite of the diminutive size of the case, there is sufficient room to install a full size graphics card. The graphics card is installed parallel behind the mini-ITX motherboard in a separate chamber and this means that virtually every single square centimetre of space inside the DAN Cases A4-SFX is intelligently used. The new V3 edition features quality Lian-Li components including a new PCIE 3.0 riser module, optional AIO mount for CPU water-cooling support with both a 92mm and 120mm radiator configuration plus mounting points for theHDPLEX 400W HiFi DC-ATX.
