Not the storyline because I DNF'd at 70% but because of how high my expectations were. This chapter allows readers to delve deeper into Adeline’s inner world and witness her growth and self-discovery in the face of the revelations brought to light by the gun scene. Are you looking for a good book to read? If so, you may want to consider Hunting Adeline. This is the first book in a series, and it is sure to keep you entertained.If you do want to read a good gun sex scene, you should look into Her Soul for Revenge. Not only is it incredibly hot, well drawn out, with great dialogue and variety, but it also has a fantastic character dynamic. The fmc in that book is so much more badass, so the playing field is even and so much more fun. Both characters take part in the teasing and dirty talk and ugh, let me tell you, it was years better than the sex scene in this one. I'm going to start out with this because I feel like otherwise it'll get lost in the end of my review and no one will care but can we please stop making sapphic relationships a joke?

The names of the two books in the series are Haunting Adeline and Hunting Adeline. These are also not classified as romance, which I thought was surprising considering I learned of these books from individuals on TikTok that normally only suggest romance books.
