About this deal

The story here becomes a lot more interesting after David hears about their new assignment by his college professor Dr. Bergstorm. He tells his students about his assignment on dragons and tells them that this will be a contest in which the winner will have the pleasure of traveling to the Arctic. Arctic The book initially opens with the introduction of a seer’s apprentice, called Agawin as there is a mysterious story following this character that will begin to unravel completely later on in the story. For the time being, you get to read about the evil Ix as they have consumed countless lifeforms and are growing a deadly army made for destruction.

There is also another thrilling fact that you get to find out in this book and that is the fire tear, the one thing that Liz uses to give her precious clay dragons life. The aura from this fire tear, that gives life to these dragons, is kept in a snowball in her freezer. However, she doesn’t let David find that out just yet, as she only tells him that this snowball in the freezer is just a memory from past events. Zanna Another reread from my childhood. I vividly remember blasting through the first four or five books in a night each as a kid, but all I really remember about the story is clay dragons, Gadzooks, and a polar bear and a white hedgehog. So it's once again time to see how well a childhood favourite holds up. Turns out pretty well. Touched by Vorlons: When the Fain commingle with people, they tend to leave quite a bit of residue behind. In the end this is one of my all time favorite books, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in dragons or with a love of fantasy touched with a little romance and the convalescent bond of family tieing the book together.

The Last Dragon Chronicles, book 2 review. by Mutiversewriter, literature

There is something more to this battle and to what is to come in this world as there are signs that something else, far worse, is planning to bring more changes to their world. Something is rewriting history itself as you get to find out for yourself what exactly that is when you get to this part of The Last Dragon Chronicles. Agawin People who hate these books have accused them of being falsely marketed. The premise of the Last Dragon Chronicles –not to mention the titles and the book covers—seems to promise an epic fantasy series featuring dragons, magic, and earth-shattering conflicts between good and evil. The author knows his dragons. The dragon scenes are good. But there's also a really compelling story about the human side of things. The writing is great, and, while it isn't incredibly detailed, it easily puts you in the scene. The story actually focuses more on the human character of Ren rather than the dragons. The ending was satisfying and unexpected (at least for me, anyway), and the book didn't feel like it dragged on at times.

The final book in the series, The Fire Ascending, brings the story full circle as David and Zanna must face their greatest challenge yet. The fate of the dragons and the world rests in their hands, and they must use all of their skills and knowledge to save the day. Wound That Will Not Heal: The Mark of the Oomara. By the fourth book, though, Zanna's arm is better. On Earth, dragons and darklings are trapped in a bitter, unresolved conflict. But at the dawn of history, something is working to bring about a change. A mysterious force is rewriting timelines, turning what was once legend into startling reality.... Similarly, in the third book in the series, Fire Star, it's revealed that Zanna is pregnant with David's baby. Since this is a children's book series, no direct reference to them having sex is ever mentioned.

the Mark of Oomara by Kitrei-Sirto, literature

While staying there, David discovers that Elizabeth likes to constantly make clay dragon figurines, but he can’t stop to feel that something is definitely strange here and it might happen to do with these dragon figurines that are all around her home. Believe it or not, these clay dragons later come to life and so begins this wonderful adventure in a house full of dragons.

In Icefire, Lucy creates a new dragon named G'reth. He is a wishing dragon that can grant wishes that would benefit dragon kind. David becomes the owner of this dragon because he was the one who named him (with Gadzook's help). But fate seems to be dictating an unusual course for David when his college tutor, Dr. Bergstrom, sets him an essay on the existence – or not – of dragons. The tantalising prize is a fully funded research trip to the Arctic, which seems just within his grasp. David starts to research the subject and soon discovers a connection between dragons and the Arctic. Then, evidence begins to mount that somewhere in the neighbourhood is a polar bear. Beginning to wonder whether it is only a coincidence or could deeper forces be at work, David begins to uncover more about the dragons. He finds himself drawn to a time when dragons really did exist, and their secrets were guarded by the polar bears of the Arctic. David must open his mind to the legend of dragons if he is going to have any chance of winning the research trip. Meanwhile, the evil sibyl, Gwilanna, appears with an evil plot, and the secret of the dragons is revealed. If she is to be defeated, David must discover the link between an ancient legend about the fire tear of the last dragon, Gawain, and the frozen north. The keys to solving the puzzle are his new girlfriend, Zanna, and Dr. Bergstrom, who proves to have more mysteries than meets the eye. The Wearle leads us into a land of human and dragon, one where the dragons are dominant of the land and humans live in the recesses in communities. The Wearle is a place of dragon dwelling and we are following the story of Gabrial; a young, blue dragon who witnesses the murder of a dragon princess and one of her offspring. But upon realising such a heartbreaking tragedy, he is accused of her death from his battle with another dragon to enchant the heart of another princess. After conjuring an i:mage, one to distract the opposing dragon in combat, he is wrongly accused of the crime and punished by being stripped of his namesake; becoming Abrial and sent to work with minerals. We are journeyed through a multitude of perspectives afterwards to uncover the mysteries of what happened to the princess, one that will reveal many secrets of the Wearle and the some dragons' dishonest hearts.Fusion Dance: This happens when the Fain "commingle." By the end of Book Four, David also contains Ingavar, Thoran, Dr. Bergstrom, and G'lant. That's a lotta people in one body.
