About this deal

I have included a lot of trains, but configured them to match my "thrustmaster t flight hotas x" and the German language

It takes a little bit of work and changes (swap keyboard with gamepad) but for me it's 100% worth it. Reverser– The reverser switch has 4 positions, OFF, FORWARD, NEUTRAL, REVERSE. This works with most trains although many DTG trains do not support the OFF function. The RailDriver® Desktop Train Cab Controller includes prototypical levers and controls for the ultimate interface to computer-based railroading. An internal bass speaker supplements your existing sound system and adds realistic vibration to the controls.Edit: Note that if you have official Xbox or PlayStation controllers then you obviously don't need to map the gamepad to controller 1 in X360CE because they will work in TSW out of the box. It always bothered me with other programs that they became quite inaccurate and also did not change the controller continuously variable. Therefore, I wrote my own program. was selected in the recent past as the preferred control software for professional exhibition layouts. Now, onto controllers: Windows 10 natively supports Xbox 360 wired controllers. Every controller that you use on the PC, with some exceptions, are considered by Windows to be Xbox 360 controllers - even Xbox One/SeriesX/S controllers. Many controllers do work, however, without any extra programs, as Steam has a compatibility mode for most of them. This makes them be interpreted as X-Input controllers, but all button icons will be for the Xbox 360 or One, unless your game specifically has a modified UI for different controllers. Train Simulator isn't one of them. It's also worth pointing out that the menus in Train Simulator are pretty dreadful for controllers, so you'll want to use a mouse to navigate them. Firmware is the software, or programming code, inside the PBC itself. This may be updated occasionally to provide new features or improvements.

Brake Levers - Independent and automatic brakes and three-position rotary switches for lights and wipers. Horn & Cab Buttons - A three-digit LED speedometer, horn or whistle lever and eight programmable cab buttons. Throttle/Brake handle – The PBC had a Throttle/Brake handle which is typically used as 4 brake notches and upto 7 throttle notches. I'd say that a controller is fine if you don't plan on playing with any 'advanced' content. The trains included by default should be mostly fine, but anything that's more advanced won't work properly. Some advanced content may have simple modes, but I always felt that what was removed made the trains less fun to play, as they usually took away from quite simple features. For example, the Armstrong Powerhouse Class 90's simple mode gets rid of the ability to have day and night headlight configurations, which is annoying, and I think it deactivates some other simple features, as well as the major ones you might not want to deal with when using a controller. TS Classics DLC (that being a lot of older DLC available at low prices because of their simplicity) will work fine, and assuming you don't have TS yet are a good place to learn the game*. They are also quite cheap, which is good.

Cables & Connectors

Generally yes. The software has been specifically programmed and tested to work with most UK add-ons and also many worldwide trains. Every week, new add-ons are tested and added to the supported list which can be found here: Compatibility Matrix Yes, it is notched and damped to emulate real world controls. 4 brake notches and 7 power notches. If the train has 4 power notches, like many modern units, then you would ignore the last 3 notches of power.

Drive your train with realistic throttle, brake, reverser, and switch controls, plus 34 programmable buttons. RailDriver® Desktop Train Cab Controller — feel like you're driving a train, not a computer. Door Open buttons– These open doors on all train. Both are required to be pressed at the same time just like in real life for confirmation. in the shortest time. Thus, only a few input is needed until the first train will run under control of the Drive your train with realistic throttle, brake, reverser and switch controls, plus 34 programmable buttons. RailDriver® Desktop Train Cab Controller - feel like you're driving a train, not a computer. Dovetail Games announced they will provide support for external controllers in a future release of TSW2. They are currently working on a programming interface to enable 2-way controller communication similar to TS2020. When this is released we will be working on support as soon as possible. Please get in touch with Dovetail games requesting they add external controller support, as the more requests they receive, they higher the priority it will become for them.I still use the XInput solution in TSW2 and TSW3 because controlling throttle and brakes directly is really nice. Also, with the other tools I mentioned in my previous post I can split and remap my hardware levers to the Raildriver axis so that they match 1:1 with the loco I'm driving. For example, the Raildriver has throttle and brake on the same lever which is not the case for all locos like in the BR 185. Generic gamepads' like your unofficial one (most likely) will work, but sometimes there might be issues with individual controllers. I am aware of the problems with the "find time factor" (I also had problems with it myself). But this should be improved in the new version.
